Frequently Asked Questions
1. What ages do you accept?
We welcome children from 2 to 6 years of age. Enrollment is possible once a child has reached their second birthday and is developmentally ready for group care.
2. Do you offer full‑day care?
Yes. We offer full‑day kindergarten programs designed to support working families who require reliable, consistent childcare throughout the day. We also offer extended day care till 5pm.
3. When should families apply?
We recommend applying as early as possible, ideally 6–18 months in advance, particularly for younger age groups and full‑day places. Demand is high and availability is limited.
4. Are mid‑year start dates possible?
Yes. Children may join throughout the year, including spring and mid‑year start dates, depending on availability within the relevant age group.
5. How does the enrollment process work?
Enrollment follows a clear process:
Step 1: Submission of an enquiry
Step 2: Invitation to a kindergarten tour
Step 3: Confirmation of availability
Step 4: Completion of registration and deposit
A place is confirmed only once all steps are completed.
6. Can we visit the kindergarten before enrolling?
Absolutely. We strongly encourage families to visit the kindergarten, meet our team, and gain insight into our daily routines. Tours are offered by appointment.
7. What are your group sizes and supervision structure?
Our groups operate with a staff‑to‑child ratio of 1:7, allowing for close supervision, emotional security, and individual attention within a group setting.
8. How do you ensure safety during outdoor activities?
Daily outdoor time is essential. Safety measures include:
- Structured supervision at all times
- Clear headcount procedures
- High‑visibility vests for outings
- Age‑appropriate parks
- Close monitoring during busier periods
Children are never left unattended.
9. What language model do you follow?
We are a bilingual kindergarten, offering English and German in a 50/50 model.
Each teacher speaks only one language – either English or German – and languages are never mixed. This supports natural, confident bilingual development.
10. What are the fees?
Fees depend on the child's attendance model (half day or full day). A detailed fee overview is provided during the enquiry or tour stage for full transparency before enrollment.
